Notification Management
Video notifications are a key growth lever on Facebook Watch, but many users are confused by the notifications ecosystem. I redesigned Facebook Watch’s information architecture to help people understand why they’re notified right from the home screen, including predictable entrypoints to notification settings and a scalable framework to unlock future notification formats.
Follow Controls
As a discovery surface, the Facebook Watch home feed displays content from creators you follow, in addition to creators of interest you don’t currently follow. I helped design inline Follow controls, to help people refine their Watch feed and differentiate between “connected” and “unconnected” creators.
New Notifications
People can choose to be notified when a favorite creator posts a new video on Facebook Watch. I rewrote, A/B tested and shipped updates to Facebook’s video notification copy. These copy updates, which include video titles and scale to enable aggregations, significantly increased meaningful time users spend watching video on Facebook every day.
